Medium size neutered male Heeler / American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Estimated DOB November 2008 -- Seven was surrendered to the shelter when his owners could no longer appropriately care for him. Upon his arrival at the shelter, he was not a happy-go-lucky puppy, but quite frightened, nervous and distrustful. After implementing a regime filled with consistency, positive training exercises and lots of TLC, the true essence of Seven began to emerge. Now, he greets everyone with a wiggling butt and is a happy, goofy boy. Seven is very playful with other dogs, but may be a bit too interested in cats to cohabitate with felines. He is looking for a home where he will continue to learn his basic obedience and build his confidence. He is ready to experience all the wonders life has to offer with a kind, benevolent leader to show him the way. If you like being lucky, we suggest you roll with Seven!
