Description
Large size spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Estimated DOB June 2007 -- Mazy originally came to the shelter as a stray little puppy. Through the shelter's Pet Pal Volunteer Program, she has received much guidance & attention and has developed into a wonderful young adult dog. She has rapidly learned obedience and knows basic commands. Mazy is a large dog-- strong and sometimes rambunctious. Even though she is learning her manners like a star student, we do not recommend her for families with young children as she might play too rough. Shell need an adopter that has plenty of dog experience who is ready to be a benevolent leader. Mazy walks very well on leash, loves to play with other dogs, and makes for a good couch potato as well. She is too interested in cats for us to trust her with them, but she would do well with another dog in the home. Mazy has been spending overnights with one of our volunteers and she is housebroken, loves to ride in a car, trained to come to a whistle and knows her basic commands. Mazy is waiting for her forever home, and is hoping not to have to spend any more of her adolescent life here at the Shelter.
