Description
Large size spayed female Akita / Labrador Retriever mix. Estimated DOB September 2007 -- Cookie is a big, loveable girl, very friendly with people, kids and dogs alike. Her interest in cats is a bit intense, so Cookie needs to find a cat free home. She can be a bit timid when presented with unfamiliar situations, however, she is responding quite well to the confidence building exercises shes receiving at the shelter. Cookie would benefit from sharing a home with another canine companion to help show her the ropes. As sweet as she is, Cookie is still quite a large, strong dog, one who requires a benevolent leader who can handle her size with confidence. It would be a plus if Cookies new family was familiar with her breed mix and thus the breed tendencies which can influence her personality. If you've always had a sweet tooth... we know our Cookie will hit the spot!
