Yellow Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Beau
Description
Beau is a very handsome guy, that's for sure, and a nice boy too! But he is a big boy! Beau is 1-1/2 yrs old. Since he is so big and strong, we recommend that anyone who wants to make Beau part of their family must be able to be firm with a dog and make him mind. He is a great dog! He likes kids but tends to want to be protective of them, so we are not recommending him for a family with children. He has gone out to our prison training program called Pen Pals at the Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, where he has learned basic obedience training. If you would like to meet Beau, he is actually at the shelter because he has finished his program - he is no longer at the prison. All the dogs in the Pen Pals Program are $150 and that includes their spay/neuter, all vaccinations including kennel cough and rabies, leash, plus they are crate trained, house trained, and have basic obedience training. Some will have passed their Canine Good Citizens Test.
